Short Bio

I received respectively a Ph.D. degree (1995) and Habilitation (2002) in computer science at University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA), France. I am currently full professor of computer science at URCA, deputy director member of LICIIS and research vice-president of URCA since 2017.

My research interests include high-performance graphics, scientific visualization, computer graphics and 3D vision.

Research in Computer Graphics and Visualization

The subject of my research is to propose innovative tools for high performance visualization. It is as well about the massive data processing and the way to render them intelligible by using hybrid architectures as to integrate real data in visualization solutions. These approaches concern the out-of-core visualization of spatio-temporal data as well as the iso-photographic rendering of materials or the 3D representation on autostereoscopic displays.

Research interests

Scientific Visualization, High-performance Graphics, Volume Rendering, Biomedical Imaging, Accelerating and Out-of-Core Data Access on GPUs, Predictive Materials Rendering, Light-transport Simulation, 3D Vision, Time-varying Surface Reconstruction, Mesh Tracking, Stereo and Multi-View Video, Collaboration between CG and Machine Learning.
